THE PROMISE ! ! !

Genesis 21:1-7 Amplified Bible
The Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for her as He HAD PROMISED.For Sarah became pregnant and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time God had told him. Abraham named his son whom Sarah bore to him Isaac [laughter]. And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him. Abraham was a hundred years old when Isaac was born. And Sarah said, God has made me to laugh; all who hear will laugh with me. And she said, Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children at the breast? For I have borne him a son in his old age!

This month i decided to feature my sister and Sunday's Best Winner Y'anna Crawley! As a single mom of two she has come from the place of press to The Promise! As i was so inspired by her album released August 2010 i thought to myself WHAT HAS GOD PROMISED ME? WHAT PROMISES AND GOALS HAVE YOU MADE FOR YOURSELF? All of your promises of yesterday are in God's hand to fulfil in your life today! Believe me, I understand that life hands us various trials and tribulations but I have found that our struggles are exactly what we need. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. But God is strengthening our spiritual muscles through opposition. We must Count it all JOY!

Here's my thoughts:
The problem that lies with us is that we doubt the promise, even fear the promise and thirdly we sit back and wait on the promise to happen or come. Just take a brief moment and think about the things that God has promised you. Think about the promises that are on your life. It is not enough to just know what they are, you have to act on the promises of God! There are two parts to this equation and that is your part and the divine part which is God’s part. We must understand that our actions on earth creates a response in heaven. The Bible declares that what we bind on earth it shall be bound in heaven and what we loose on earth we loose in heaven. When we do our part God will do His and that’s Good News! We have to stop being afraid to receive and walk-in the promises of God. Let us bind the fear and doubt that grips us when it’s time to walk and move and prosper in the things of God. We depend on the promise that our hairstylist will be waiting for us when we arrive early Saturday morning. The men depend that Monday night football is going to come on at 8pm but for some reason we doubt and question and even try to analyze it all when it comes to the promises of God. What has God promised you? I encourage you to step into your purpose and know that everything else is worth it! This is just a reminder that God is not slack concerning His promises and the blessings of God are Yea and Amen!

Living the Good Life!

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows). John 10:10 The Amplified Bible

Living the good life means different things to different people. “The good life” first MUST include God as the center of your heart! It then deals with the simple pleasures that make you joyful, the compassionate deeds you perform, the personal goals you strive to achieve, the relationships you nurture and the legacy you leave behind. “The good life” is also about appreciating all your time, not just your leisure time. Many times we get caught up in our daily affairs. Taking the kids to school, going to work, cooking, cleaning, church activity and the list could continue. We then grow completely numb to the little moments, the simple building blocks of time that make life really worth it. I'm learning each day that with God, I can have my little moments. I can make memorable times. Because ultimately living the good life is living the life that God has planned for us. We all have a call or purpose here on earth. Some may preach, dance, sing, usher, encourage, loan money, give a ride...whatever it is you have a purpose. It is not until we have become sure of our vocation that we can truly live the good~life and enjoy the abundance!

I would like to share with you some of my "Good~Life" TIPS:

-Meditate on God's Word and Promises everyday
-Slow down so that you can appreciate the simple things in life
-Concentrate on your passions
-Take a nap
-Help someone in need
-Keep your promises
-Don't diet, eat healthier
-Rest

If you have a personal relationship with Jesus, The Blessing of Abraham is on you and will cause you to have great favor, promotions, restoration in your relationships, supernatural increase, divine health, and overflowing joy. When that Blessing is working in your life, you will live in complete wholeness with nothing missing and nothing broken.

We can then use the overflow to be a blessing in someone else's life! Now that's good! Tell me what you think...
